Once again, this started as a conversation with myself. With my younger self. And my future self. I let the music come out of me and make sense on its own. No lyrics. Maybe I had been listening to The Durutti Column too much. Or maybe I just felt like making the same kind of music I used to make 15 years ago when I started recording stuff on my own in my small apartment. Listening to those old recordings made me think. As an artist, it's all about letting yourself be weird. The weird, imperfect, lazy, crazy, unloveable, introspective you. The one who has a passion for things that no one seems to care about. The one that is really you. Past, present and future. The rest does not matter.
